Similarly, in Sindh, the expected summer vacation dates are from June 1 to July 31, 2025. In Islamabad, schools were already closed temporarily from May 9 to May 12 due to rising temperatures and ongoing concerns, with regular classes now resumed.
Earlier this month, schools in some areas of Punjab were closed from May 8 to May 10 in response to geopolitical tensions between India and Pakistan. Those closures were temporary, and schools reopened on May 12.
While education departments in different provinces have shared tentative schedules, officials have clarified that these are not final dates. Given the severe weather patterns and heat-related health concerns, school closure dates could be adjusted accordingly.
